John and Katie – Manchester Wedding Photography

We were back in Manchester not so long ago to photograph John and Katie’s wedding. Not to be confused with Kate and Johnny’s wedding thats coming up shortly!

The ceremony was at the Midland Hotel, such a fantastic venue and has accommodated the likes of George Best, Pavarotti, The Beatles, Madonna, and a personal favourite Mike Tyson, (before the crazies kicked in). Was great to be back in Manchester city centre, great place.

We only covered the wedding for a few hours, however everyone looked like they were having a great time, and John and Katie were no exception to this. Lovely couple and hope to see again soon.

Amy and Andrew – Keele Hall Wedding Photography

We were back at Keele Hall to photograph the wedding of Amy and Andrew. Such a nice venue, and real hidden gem within the Keele University campus.

The ceremony was at St Johns Church in Keele Village. What a fantastic church, very impressive. After the ceremony the couple release two doves. It was quite a photo challenge but just about managed to get some.

We headed to Keele Hall. Amy and Andrew met while at Keele University so was fitting to have the reception there.

Congratulations to both you you, such a great couple, I wish you all the happiness in the world.

Baby Phoebe

A few weeks ago we were back in Nottingham, but not to take photos of little Locksley, this time to photography his new cousin, Phoebe.

She took a while to get used to us, but was a perfect model in no time. We had a great day, Phoebe’s very lucky, as she has fantastic family all around her, and I’m sure we’ll be back to take some more photos in the future.

I could tell Tony and Jules enjoyed every minute of the wedding, and this shot just captures one instance. You can just about see their guests looking at them, as they are having their first dance.

Tony & Jules Wedding, Hampton Manor

We recently had the great pleasure of shooting the wedding of the fabulous Jules and Tony Way. We first met the couple over a year ago and hit it off instantly. Since then we’ve shot a Rat Pack styled photo shoot for the swing themed invites.

The venue was Hamton Manor, in Hampton-in-Arden, and the weather was fantastic all day. Both Tony and Jules looked great, Jules in a one off dress, and Tony looking very swarve in deed.

They are a great couple, very welcoming with lovely kids, helpful too.. giving us photography direction during the couples portrait shots.

Image of the Month – July

It was hard to pick this month but I went for this one for the pure emotion in the shot. Its a shot taken 5 minutes after Ruth’s and her dad met on the morning of the wedding. I have shots taken the moment they met, but the emotion is still the same, as he was gob smacked for at least 10 minutes.

I asked the two to pose for a shot, then once the shot was taken snapped another when they stopped posing. The non posed shots are always the best, but this way it was located in nice spot with good light
