On Saturday 17th September we were delighted to be photographing the lovely Steve and Amys wedding. We had met previously at their engagement shoot so we knew we were in for a fun filled, joyous occasion.
We met at Amys parents house on the morning and were made to feel extremely welcome by her parents, it was very hard to turn down the offer of bacon and pancakes…which smelt AMAZING!
Before Amy got into her gown we grabbed some shots of it elegantly hanging on the staircase. The dress had so much detail we had to get a close up.
Steve had sent an amazing gift for Amy to open – a canvas of their wedding invitation which she was thrilled with. What a wonderful idea, plus Steve has no excuse now to forget their anniversary ![]()

The ceremony was at Wylde Green United Reformed Church. So many people had come to watch the service, and celebrate Steve and Amys big day.
I love these next two photos – one of the bridesmaids having a sneaky peek at the guests before their big entrance, while the groom waits nervously at the alter.
The ceremony was beautiful, filled with personal, heart-felt prayers and wonderful music, thanks to the band Urban Devotion.
Before heading to the Link for the wedding breakfast, we stopped off at Sutton Park for a few photos. The park is a very special place for the couple, as its where Steve proposed.
The first dance was very romantic, and we really wanted to reflect that in the photos.
In the evening, we had a photo booth set up. Amy and Steve had bought lots of props: glasses, wigs, fairy wings, tiaras, feather bowers, just to name a few, and guests were cueing up to get in and dress up. You all looked beautiful
There were sooo many lovely photos we didn’t have the space to write about them all so have added a couple more to the gallery below.
Congratulations Steve and Amy, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
